History

Alan's first experience of booking acts began in 1965 when he was the social secretary at Liverpool University. During 1968 he set up a business in Liverpool booking the student circuit and handling many of the Liverpool acts as diverse as The Scaffold, Merseybeats and Supercharge etc.
Alan later branched out into promotions. He Promoted many shows at the Boxing Stadium in Liverpool England, as well as organising events in a number of  important venues throughout the city. He went on to promote almost every major act of the time from The Who, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa,

Rod Stewart, Elton John, Deep Purple and Bob Marley to name but a few.
The business expanded and Alan was soon promoting tours nationally with Slade, Sweet, Emerson Lake and Palmer. This continued into the early '70's when in 1974 Alan joined forces with The LE Agency to help develop the rock side of the business. At the time LE was booking the world famous Wigan Casino and Alan was closely involved in the then growing Northern Soul scene.
From 1979 to 1999 Alan worked with Brian Gannon where he handled a diverse range of artists, from 60's stars such as The Merseybeats, Herman's Hermits and Dave Berry etc., to modern acts such as The Commitments. He also helped organise tours with American acts such as Dr Hook, Toto, Survivor and Art Garfunkel etc.
When Alan re-established his own agency in 1999, many of the touring acts remained with him and are listed on the website.
Alan has recently worked with many major acts for clients in the UK and abroad. These include Engelbert Humperdink, Art Garfunkel, UB40, Elkie Brooks, Steps, Gary Moore, Bryan Adams, Scorpions and Chris De Burgh and the list goes on. He has a relationship with every major management and agency both in the UK and internationally and has tours booked for Dr Hook, Animals and Friends, Spencer Davis Group, The Troggs, Jimi Jamison ( Survivor ), Nazareth, Molly Hatchet, Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush.
The business continues to expand and bookings are currently being arranged worldwide from America, Canada, South America, Europe, Russian Federation, Middle East, Far East, India, Australia and New Zealand. You name them and Alan has probably booked them.
